It has shown in the last days that many users have problems connecting to us as they got blocked by our Firewall.
We have found out that the IDM (Internet Download Manager) is causing problems since it initially hits on all files you add to the queue to check if they are available. This is recognized though by our firewall as an incoming attack since it could be 100 hits for e.g. 100 files and leads to blocking of your IP address.
You should not use IDM for now until we have fixed this issue.
Also try not to open too many connections at the same time to our server. Either for up- or downloading. FTP uploads wont have a problem.
You could use jdownloader with 4 open connections and full download speed, this will bring good results as well and will avoid any blocking of your IP address.
We apologize for the latest downtime and connections problems some of our users had whilst connecting to Easybytez.
We are already investigating the issue of this error and hopefully in the next 1-2 days this issue will have been resolved.

We have raised the daily free leech traffic limit to 25 GB (from 15 GB before)!

We have changed our FTP Server system and provide currently two FTP Servers for uploading.
You can either connect to:
Server 1: ftp1.easybytez.com
Server 2: ftp2.easybytez.com
with your username and password. In case one Server is offline, the other will be online. In the best case both will be online but never will be both offline.
Important:
New premium users have to wait until 1 hour for FTP login to work.
Uploaded files appear after 5-10 minutes in your filelocker.
The FTP Server is only for uploading files, it is not a filemanager to organize your files.

We have deleted some users from the database which obviously are inactive and have not logged into our site for more than a year.
Those users where free users only, not premium.
This might affect the number of your referrals, so if this number has decreased then you are missing only some inactive users, nothing bad.

We had some harddisk failure on our main server today which let to some hours of downtime.

As some of you may have noticed already we had to make some changes in our download policies.
Some people are abusing heavily our system with a big impact at the system performance of our server enviroment resulting that the average quality of our service is decreased to all of our users.
Premium users now have a daily download volume of 50 GB, this is topped up every day to 50 GB again. This counts for all downloads from Easybytez Servers directly. In other words: you can download every day 50 GB from Easybytez.
The Free URL Leech (downloading from other Hosters) download volume has been set to 15 GB/day, every MB downloaded will be topped up after 24 hours of the initial download. E.g.: if you download now 1 GB via Free URL Leech from other Hosts, tomorrow at the same time the 1 GB will be added to your account again.

We had to made those limits since all the other Hosters are limiting their services as well, that means that providing the Free URL Leech service is getting more complicated and much more cost intensive for us. Our promise is, that in future we will try to optimize this service, make it more reliable and add more popular Hosters.
Be aware that limitations of other Hosters (speed and quantity of downloading) can not be influence by us, though we will try our best to provide the best service to you.
Due to a software programming error we had a couple of hours downtime for our not logged in users, we apologize for this.
The error has been found and eliminated.
We cannot send any Affiliaton payout requests to Moneybookers anymore since Moneybookers decided to terminate our account.
All pending payouts which have been selected "Moneybookers" payout method should be changed to another payout method.
If you reallly want to have a quick payout then you should chose Webmoney or Bank Transfer.
The problem with Payza is fixed and all pending payouts will be processed the upcoming week.

Due to the high feedback we have revised our folder system.
You can now again manage your files in folders, add new folders, move & copy files etc.
You cannot publish your folders to the public anymore. If you want to share your files then you have to use the file links (e.g. export a file list through the filemanager).
We have stopped this option due to technical difficulties and to improve security since with the public folder link also your username and probably other files are published which you might not like to be published.
